Have you ever thought about what your favorite Disney cartoon characters would look like if they jumped out of your TV and into real life? When we were kids, many of us thought of magical places where we could have wild adventures with a few cool friends we just met. Sometimes, even as adults, we still dream of these places where we could have wild adventures with a few cool friends we just met. These people would accept us for who we are, and we could go on crazy adventures without worrying about anything. Luigi Kemo Volo, a graphic designer and illustrator from Bacoli, Naples, Italy, wondered the same thing. So, he took pictures of himself in real life and used digital photo editing tools to make himself look like everyone’s favourite Disney characters. The results are both cute and funny.
Volo also made pictures of him walking by the water with Lilo and Stitch, taking a smoke break with Hades, and getting a big bowl of noodles from Mushu.
However Kemo had time because his lack of money made it hard for him to follow his artistic dreams. He started as a full-time barman and did odd jobs like being a photographer at different events or working on advertising projects. He started doing street art in 2002, which got him into the art world. Later, he also worked as a writer. After 10 years, he started to learn more about photography, and in 2014, he became an independent illustrator.
