Have you ever had a “Kodak moment”? That is a special time that you can recall over and over. Some people would do anything to preserve that Kodak moment.
Almost anyone could bet that Todd Cendrosky has had one of those times. After Brittany’s mom got divorced from another Todd, he married her. That other Todd was Todd Bachman. When things like that happen, the men might not say too many nice things about each other.

In fact, Todd and Todd did not like each other very much at all. And that can cause problems in the family, of course. similar to Brittany. The 21-year-old was making plans for a nice wedding outside. Setting up for the wedding wasn’t hard at all. The problem was, who would take that traditional walk down the aisle with her? Would it be Todd, her real father, who was always around when she was young? Or would it be her stepfather Todd, who raised her for so many years? You see, she really cared about each of them. She didn’t know what to do, and she told her real dad that it bothered her. But Brittany asked her real dad to walk her down the aisle in the end.

So, everything went well on the day of the wedding. It was a beautiful day, and the weather was nice. Then Brittany’s real father started walking her down the aisle to meet her future husband, Jeremy, at the end. But all of a sudden, Todd Bachman stopped and reached across a chair to grab Brittany’s stepfather, Todd Cendrosky, by the arm and pull him up to walk with him and his daughter.

As the beautiful bride’s fathers each took one of her arms, no one could hold back a tear. Even though these two men always said bad things about each other, they were at peace with each other. Brittany’s dad wanted to give his little girl the best day he could, which meant he had to swallow his pride and do the right thing.

“I’ve always wanted to walk a daughter down the aisle,” said Brittany’s stepfather. When Todd took my hand, it was the best day of my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. We are now a family, and the needs of the children must come first.”

As the wedding ended and the new Mr. and Mrs. left the crowd of people who loved them, two other people were walking hand in hand and talking about what a beautiful day it had been.
