Communist China cautioned Elon Musk not to discuss the coronavirus lab leak scenario for fear that it might harm his chances of doing business there.
The CEO of Twitter commented over the weekend in response to a tweet by “Kanekoa The Great” that questioned whether Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, was involved in the development of the coronavirus.
The FBI and the Department of Energy have concluded that the coronavirus originated at the Wuhan lab because Dr. Anthony Fauci supported gain-of-function research there and lied to Congress about it.
Does that imply that Dr. Anthony Fauci provided funding for COVID-19’s development?” the story questioned.
Musk retorted, “He did it via a pass-through organization (EcoHealth),” alluding to the nonprofit corporation to which Fauci’s institute had awarded $8 million in federal research grants to study Chinese bat coronaviruses.

A social media post from the CCP-controlled Global Times, which made reference to Musk’s Tesla industrial campus in Shanghai and referred to him as a right-wing fanatic, was China’s response to his statement.
It stated that Musk “has been growing closer to these right-wing elements in the United States in recent years, judging from public information and historical media reporting.
He has been addressing various domestic and international topics, including racism, gender, and the Russia-Ukraine crisis in the United States.
He has demonstrated a propensity to support these right-wing conservative ideas.
He relishes the idea of “carrying the sedan chair” and being sought after by American right-wing organizations. He will, therefore, automatically associate with these persons regarding the origin of the new crown virus, it was noted.
Musk may be “breaking the pot of China,” which, according to CNBC’s Eunice Yoon, simply means “biting the hand that feeds you,” according to the post.
When FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested the coronavirus lab leak scenario has substance, it gained significant support this week.

The FBI has determined for quite some time that a suspected lab mishap in Wuhan is most likely the source of the epidemic, according to Wray, speaking to Fox News. “In this case, you’re discussing a potential leak from a lab that the Chinese government controls.”
“I’ll just note that the Chinese government seems to have been making every effort to obstruct and obscure the work being done here, by us, by the U.S. government, and by our close international allies. It’s unfortunate for everyone, he continued.
