People on social media came together on Monday to pray for and wish well Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suddenly fell down on the field.
Breitbart News said that the Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals Monday Night Football game had to be stopped when Damar Hamlin tumbled on the field and needed CPR before being taken to the hospital.
“Around 9:25 p.m. Eastern Time, Hamiln, who was 24 years old, was taken off the field on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital,” the report said. “Fox Sports reporter Joe Danneman said in an early report that Hamlin had a pulse but was not breathing on his own right after he fell down.”
People from all over the U.S. sent their condolences after hearing the news.
