Sir Tom Jones, who is also known as “The Bull from Wales,” has had a successful career for more than 60 years. This famous singer was praised for being able to switch between different types of music. He was once called a “musical shape shifter.”
Many awards have been given to the now-80-year-old musician for his work in music. In 2016, Queen Elizabeth knighted the son of a coal worker (his real name is Thomas John Woodward) for his services to music.
Tom Jones was knighted, which was an honor, but that same year his wife died, which was the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Since 1957, Sir Tom had been married to Linda Trenchard. He had to say goodbye to the woman he loved. Lisa passed away four years ago after a “short but fierce” fight with lung cancer.
After Linda died, Tom canceled all of his shows and put out a short statement:

Sir Tom said, “After my wife died, I didn’t think I could sing.” “Your voice gets weak when you’re upset. You can’t sing.”

He went on, “It took me a while.” It took me a while to see if I could sing. I got some of my players together and played a few songs. But it made me feel a lot.
Jones also chose to sell their big mansion in Los Angeles along with all of their furniture in order to move back to the UK after Linda died.
Linda wanted him to live in a flat in London now. Cancer took the life of his late wife before she could move back to where she grew up. She was homesick.
Sir Tom, who was married to Linda for 59 years, said, “She always said she wanted to come back but couldn’t. So she told me to do it in the last week she was alive.”
Jones still grieves for Linda, whom he married when he was sixteen years old. Linda was 15 years old when she met him.

Radio 2 asked Sir Tom to describe the first time he saw his future wife:
“I remember seeing her play marbles, and I thought, ‘My God, she has such great legs.'” We went out together because she was the most beautiful girl there. The singer said, “It was magic.”
They got married when they were teens, just one month before their son Mark was born.
But there would be a lot of problems and cheating in their marriage. Tom lied to his wife for more than fifty years.
Tom used to be a sex icon and has said that he slept with 250 women a year when he was at the top of his game.
Author Sean Smith told Daily Mail in 2015, “From the very beginning, he wasn’t exactly Mr. Faithful.”
It’s not clear how much Linda knew about her husband’s bad side, but she did think something wasn’t right. Sir Tom said that while he was on tour, the couple had a policy of “don’t ask.”
Cindy liked to keep to herself and didn’t leave the couple’s Bel Air home very often. “During her single marriage to Tom, she has also had drinking issues,” Robin Eggar told the Daily Mail. Eggar wrote the official history of Tom Jones.
After 2003, the wife stopped going on trips with her husband and spent most of her time at their Bel Air mansion.
By that time, she had been through a number of issues that had hurt their relationship.
When Tom Jones was on tour in the US in 1987, he slept with Katherine Berkery for three days. She was 24 years old. Reports say Katherine didn’t know he was married, and Tom wouldn’t answer the phone when she told him she was pregnant with his child.
In June 1988, nine months after that, Jonathan Berkery was born in New York. Sir Tom said he wasn’t Jon’s dad and wouldn’t accept that the child was his.
But a DNA test in 1989 proved that he was the boy’s father. Then, the Daily Express says, he had to pay support every month until Jonathan turned 18.
But Sir Tom didn’t even know about Jon for a long time, and he hasn’t shown any desire to meet his son.
“I didn’t plan for it to happen.” I was lied to. “I gave in to the charm,” Tom Jones said in 2008.
Jonathan grew up with his mom, but he’s always wanted to meet his famous dad.
He blames his dad
That wasn’t possible, Jonathan told the Sunday Mirror. “When his wife Linda died, I hoped we could finally meet and get to know each other.”

Jonathan Berkery lost his job and is now living on the streets for several years. He blames his father, Tom Jones, for this.
“It was hard to grow up without a father.” My only wish was for him to love me. “Some people think I sound and look like my dad when I was younger,” Jonathan says.
