There are always nice friendships between animals. This story is so interesting, and just look at how cute they are!

This is an African spurred tortoise named Leonardo. It was saved in 2013 when a zoo in Bangkok, Thailand, was closing down.

He was taken to the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) Rescue Center, which is home to a lot of animals that need help. The animals who have nowhere else to go live there, too.

Leonardo is happy and comfortable where he lives. But it was going to get better.

Cue Simon is a young cow whose mother found him stuck in a tangle of vines while they were out grazing.

He was taken in by the WFFT, which gave him a device to help him walk. But the people who saved him were going to introduce him to the other cows at the sanctuary. Simon, however, had other plans.

When Simon saw Leonardo, he and Leonardo fell in love. They became very close to each other.

The WFFT says that they can often be seen hanging out together and even eating together. Also, they sleep together. They are so happy to be friends in this strange way. Even the people who saved them are glad to see them all together.
